This one-of-a-kind hat, handmade by local artisan Sue Scott, is called the "Gigi". It is fashioned in a classic but fun, woven houndstooth wool blend in very wearable black and white colours, with some lurex woven in to add a bit of glam. The shape is an eight-part voluminous crown that gives body to this beret and the trim is a fun loop on top made in coordinated black boiled-wool fabric, and repeated at the headband. This beret is fully lined and winter-ready with a satiny, flannel-backed Kasha lining that’s easy on the hair and stops wind for added warmth.
