This one-of-a-kind hat, handmade by local artisan Sue Scott, is called the "Casquette". It is fashioned in a beautiful Baroque floral print in polyester panne velvet in tones of rust, orange, blue-greys, sage, taupe and plum mixed with a polyester faux fur in a dark sage shade with a swirl texture that also graces the under-peak. The shape is an eight-part crown, with some volume and a front peak that conveniently keeps snow off of your eyelashes. The trim on top is an antique metal button that matches the background of the print perfectly. It is fully lined with a satiny, flannel-backed Kasha lining that’s easy on the hair and stops wind for added warmth.
