This one-of-a-kind silk scarf has been handmade in Ottawa at Shiborica's studio. It has been created with Shibori dyeing technique on 100% pure silk crinkle chiffon and is totally unique. A piece of art to wear!
The silk chiffon is Summer weight (5 mm) and light and diaphanous with a crinkle texture that gives it body, interest, and charm. The finely finished hand-rolled piece measures flat at 22” X 72” but looks narrower with its crinkles.
Hand wash your special accessory in cold water with a mild soap or shampoo and lay flat to dry. The texture will come back like magic! You can also spritz it with water to freshen up the crinkle. Do not bleach and the colours of your artistic accessory will last a lifetime.
