This one-of-a-kind hat, handmade by local artisan Sue Scott, is called the "Casquette". It is fashioned in rich poly/cotton/lycra blend panne velvet featuring a beautiful cherry blossom print in shades of teal, aqua, reds, greens and orange on a charcoal background. The shape is a classic eight-part voluminous crown, with a front peak that conveniently keeps snow off of your eyelashes. The trim on top is a covered button in the same fabric. Fully lined with a thick wind-stopping lining that also gives body to the otherwise supple fabric. Size-medium: Approximately 22 1/4.’’ with an elastic in the back so it can go a little larger.
